BIOGRAPHY

Dancer and choreographer Ivaldo Bertazzo has been developing the project Cidadãos Dançantes [Dancing Citizens] since the 1970s, aimed at educating the body and the transformation of gestures as a manifestation of individuality. In addition to dance, makes use of physical therapy, along with studies of human movement and biomechanics in his work.

His project for the 28th Bienal de São Paulo will be an action undertaken by 250 members of the general public – anyone can sign up – choreographed by Bertazzo himself.
